Our Second Annual BANA Community Social Event on Saturday, September 19 was a success!

Thank you to all the members, neighbors and volunteers who joined us for our BANA Community Social event on Saturday, September 19 at The Plaza between Glenwood and Parkwood boulevards. We were pleased to welcome such a great crowd along with incredible community tables and vendors. And we were thrilled to collaborate with Porchfest and have four local bands play at our event and be part of the music and energy throughout the community.

Special thanks to the City of Schenectady, The Schenectady Foundation, Stewart’s Shops, Union College, Art in Bloom and all of our great partners and supporters. We look forward to next year!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the BANA Annual Earth Day Cleanup in April!

Thanks to our partners including the neighboring GE Realty Plot Neighborhood Association, Union College Community Engagement student volunteers, Price Chopper/Market 32 and the City of Schenectady, we were able to pick up and dispose of garbage in all three alleys (Center, East, and West alleys) and tackle some much-needed yard work on some of the islands, particularly at Parkwood and Rugby. See our Facebook page for more photos!

(Please note: BANA is not affiliated with the Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church. The church provides a meeting space for meetings and neighborhood cleanups)
